The first picking of many to come, here in Northern Michigan.
I’ve seen several with and several without the skins. Some sliced very thin, some in 1/8ths. I’ve not done fresh peaches, yet. Only my canned peaches. Got my FD in January. I’ve got over 85 loads under my belt – so I know a bit. I know how, what, when and why of FDing but not about peaches.
All I need or want to know is your preferred method of FDing fresh peaches. Slicing/thickness and with or without skins.
    Thank you!! 😊 🍑

What variety of peach do you grow up there? Looking for a really hardy one for KY. We get some crazy weather here!

In Northern Michigan, hardy peach varieties like Reliance, Redhaven, and Veteran thrive in unpredictable weather. These could be good options for Kentucky too, but I recommend consulting local experts for the best varieties suited to your climate. Good luck with your peach-growing!😊
